Her curls are in back, her hair is like a layered bob and there is a flip to it. Say if you would pull your hair back for a pony tail then just leave it to the back, but then if you would shake your hair forward it would come to the sides so then the flips would be there.
Hope that make sense.

Thanks, agmomx2. The doll in the auction photo doesn't look like she has any curl at all.

The pictures look a bit blurry. I bet if you email the seller she could send you some closer/better pictures. She looks very cute but since it's so much money I would email for more info.
BTW, my Lindsey has curls. I've never seen one with straight hair.

When I got my Lindsey, her hair was pretty much straight. Hers was from a lot of play, brushing and love. Depending on how dry this doll's hair it, it may be possible to wet and brush her hair back into its original style.

With curly-haired dolls, the curls are "set." It's kind of like with a person who has naturally curly hair. The curls may fall out or change shape if they wear their hair back straight, but when they wash their hair--poof! there they are again.

With dolls, you just need to wet the hair. You can form curls around your fingers. My mom has a My Twinn with Shirley-temple-like ringlets, and this is how she does it. Every once in a while the curls fall a bit, and she has to repeat the process. (Lindsey's hair shouldn't be this much maintenance since it's not as curly.)

What was puzzling me about this doll is that she is supposed to be mint and hardly ever played with, yet her hair is so flat. I guess I'm just used to seeing Lindsey with waves, even ones that haven't been taken care of very well. Anyway, someone bought her.
